University of Akron Scholarship
The Ricard S. and Harold M. Garson Home Builders Association Scholarship Fund recognizes the Garsons commitment and contributions to the building industry by initially providing three individual scholarships for $1,000 annually.

Every year, HBA Serving Portage and Summit Counties collects donations to purchase tools for students in building programs in local school districts.
Through your donation, you will be supporting the education of the future of the Building Industry.
Veteran Housing Fund
HBA uses this fund to provide safe and accessible housing to men and women who have served in the U.S Military and are Veteran Status.
This includes building and remodeling homes to make them quickly accessible for the veteran's specific needs.
