    Urban Communities are regulated by the OEPA for stormwater discharges, just like developers and contractors.  Even though they are different permits with different requirements, they both have to meet the same goal.  Cleaning up our stormwater discharges!  As part of our stormwater permit the communities are required to regulate development and construction activity.  Recently our permit requires the TMDLs of a watershed be addressed and to incorporate this into our regulations.  What are TMDLs and what does this mean for you?  You will learn what they are, how to address them in your project and how this may affect your development or design.
