About the
National Sales and Marketing Council
The Sales and Marketing Council promotes
skill and professionalism in sales and marketing for HBA members. The objective
of the Council is to serve the building industry through educational services;
through awards programs that showcase examples of sales and marketing
excellence; and through sales and marketing support to HBA members, committees,
and councils. Many of our classes and events lend themselves to all types of
sales positions, not just real estate agents! The Sales and Marketing
Council requires membership in addition to your regular HBA membership.

awards (MAME) scheduled for February 2004 (location tbd). An
official call-for-entries is mailed in November to HBA and SMC members with
deadlines beginning January 2004. Be sure to get your entries in early or call
the HBA office for more information. Our Certified
New Home Sales Professional class gives you a CSP
designation after your name to show your training. The 2003 course will
take place on April 2, 3 & 4 and will be presented by local
instructors and Nancy Gainer, MIRM. This class offers 20 CEU's for
Real Estate.
Building from the Ground Up is a short (3 hour) class about new
construction. It's great for people new to the industry and veterans
alike. This year's class is scheduled for May 22 from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
at Stratford Green in Green. Click
